A Very BBC Christmas

kitchen_kinkThe Back Bay Chorale will be having not one, but two holiday concerts in Boston!
For those of you who aren't typically choral concert-goers, this might be the show for you. We'll be performing mostly well-known and beloved Christmas music, and having a carol sing-along. Below's a more official bit of text: hope you'll join us!

Take a break from your hectic holiday schedule and enjoy an evening of music inspired by the season. The Back Bay Chorale is performing “An 18th Century Christmas” twice in December, including excerpts from Handel’s Messiah, Vivaldi’s Gloria, Bach’s B-Minor Mass and the gem-like Christmas Concerto of Corelli. You also get to join in as we sing some beloved carols, so bring your singing voice!
We’ve got two performances – one in the Great Hall at Faneuil Hall on Saturday evening, December 20th at 8PM, the other on Sunday Afternoon December 21st at 3PM at Marsh Chapel at Boston University. You can read about all the details on our website at BBCBoston.org. As usual, you can get tickets directly from me, or through the chorale website.
Note that there’s an extra bonus for the Saturday evening concert – we’ve arranged for discounts at some of Faneuil Hall Marketplace’s best restaurants for BBC concert-goers. Check out the website for details, and make an evening of it!
