Theatrical Technical Director wanted for Winter's Tale

Hello, all and sundry,

It looks very much like I'm directing The Winter's Tale at Theatre @ First this spring. The one position I'm having a heck of a time filling is that of Technical Director. This person will be the point person for all technical aspects of the show, and will be especially concentrating on set building and obtaining materials. The TD needs to be available throughout the rehearsal process, but the schedule will be flexible except for the last two weeks before performance, which will happen April 23 - May 2.

This position, like all others in community theatre, is compensated in love.

Oh, are those the dates? Guess any involvement with this show is right out then. I'll be in sunny Florida. Hard to shed too many tears about that though. :-)

I finally got around to reading The Winter's Tale, which is one of the few Shakespeare plays that I hadn't either read or seen. Wow, it's pretty darn freaky in parts. Now I simply must audition!

I'll spread the word to any potential TDs I can think of.

Very likely First Church. Having given Unity a second look during Tomes, I think it's much too small, and EPH has gotten prohibitively expensive. So, yellow walls or no, First Church it is.
