kitchen_kinkThe first thing they take are your shoes.
I’m not sure when it happened exactly. Just, one day, I walked into the office and noticed I wasn’t wearing shoes. Nobody was. It was as if the fashion rules had changed, some arcane memo, and done.
A couple of days later I started losing my hair.
It was tolerable until I noticed my reflection going. First my tie, then my left ear. A couple of days later it was headless. I started wearing an apple in my collar to compensate.
The hardest part of all is that nobody seems to notice.
