[100 days of 100 words] 20/100
Mar. 2nd, 2008 08:59 pmIt didn’t matter how much negotiation they’d done. When that woman, that beautiful but hard-looking woman, tied her hands together and started beating her, the sounds my love made weren’t familiar. She shrieked and ran away from the strikes, and as I saw a wicked grin spread across the woman’s face, I had only one thought: I’ll just go up there, snap her neck, untie my girl’s hands and go and hold her in the corner.
Only one thought: Stop hurting her.
In another life, I’d’ve done it. These days, I have better impulse control.
Which might be too bad.
