Please help feed my figure skating addiction!

Dear wonderful friends list:

I have just spent some time figuring out when all the figure skating events are on TV (except I missed the pairs short program). However, I do not have a TV that tunes very well (I don't have cable and use my TV only for watching DVDs and such). Not to mention that I'm mostly unavailable when they're on.

So question:

1. Would anyone be willing to tape the figure skating events for me, if I tell you when they are?

2. Does anyone know if I can watch them online anywhere, at my leisure?

ooOOoo. It is Olympic. But on a TiVo, don't you have to watch that on whatever TV it's on? Like, you couldn't give me a tape or something.

I think that hammercock told me that she set the Tivo for recording the late-night rebroadcasts of the figure skating events. If so, I can easily transfer them to DVD.

I too am a figure skating obsessor.

Last time I checked my VCR it was not wanting to work, but I've been meaning to get it working to tape things.

So, let me have that schedule. I will try my darndest to get it working (I think it probably just needs a good cleaning to get all the old dust and cat hair out) and if so, I will happily let you have the tapes.

Here's the schedule! Each time slot is about 3 1/2 hours long and will be filled with all kinds of events, so there's no way of knowing when the skating is without watching it yourself. So if you want, I'll get a bunch of tapes so you can just tape the whole thing and not worry about it.

Also, the ice dancing doesn't matter much to me - the men's, pairs and women's are the most important, with the freeskate taking tops for MOST most important. :)

Just in case you're short on tape. :)

Let me know if you get your VCR working; otherwise, I have someone else who could probably do it for me. But a fellow figure-skating obsessor could be great!

I'm afraid I can't help with figure skating, but I thought I should introduce myself. I'm the upstairs-housemate of desirinsubject et al and as they are as family to me, I was (am) rather intrigued by these new names they keep tossing about. :)
