I'm reading them now--it's too bad a lot of them aren't about it at all!

Is there a way to check how many people have linked back to the post?

Yah..if you just go to http://northbard.livejournal.com and scroll down until you hit the post, WITHOUT clicking it. Right-hand bottom side lists how many comments.

Noo noo...not how many people have commented, how many people have linked to the thread in their journals.

Yikes, and here you are!

I just came over to tell Dietrich that when I did the "6 degrees of seperation" on hfx_ben and northbard, she made the immediate link ... see, she jumped off my friends list last week ... I thought it was pretty neat that my putting the peace meme into my journal uncovered that connection.

heh ... the heart-essence of Shambhalian warriorship consists of little more than just that: keep your seat! :-)

BTW, from a vaguely shamanistic perspective, just getting folkz to say something about their feelings of powerlessness is actually the first and absolutely required step to taking what real power we always have.

Hi--sorry about taking you off. You weren't really posting anymore, and also I've been trying to keep new additions to my friends list to people I know in real life. :)

Oh! Relieved to hear it wasn't because of some offense.

Ya, as I wrote, my ages-long poverty finally caught up with me ... but I've found a set of legs, for a while at least.
Sorry I wasn't more entertaining. :-P

I wish for peas... warm, soft, lightly buttered peas... nestled on a bed of smooth mashed potatoes, with a hint of garlic in them.

(ftr, i wished for peace too :)
