...and yet I don't think the dialogue should stop. I hope that people remain interested and active and not just dejected. I'd be really interested in starting conversations about what the most eggregious governmental evils are and how we can address them. Maybe we can have a progressive think tank....

I'll say something soon. Right now, though, I'm just in shock, and feeling literally ill. I'm not sure what I'm going to do.

I think I need some hard limits as to what can happen in this country before I decide it's time to leave. I thought that the election of Bush might be it. But now I don't know; the idea of leaving Boston is sickening as well at this point.

I have so many bad feelings about what this maniac could accomplish to change the face of this country. That, and/or civil war breaking out.

But I have to teach now. Or try.

if you give up and leave, then they really do win. if they hadn't rigged unknown numbers of voting machines, torn up democractic voter registration forms, and all the other crap they pulled, we wouldn't be having this conversation, yes a disheartening percentage of americans are stupid fuckheads, but we must'nt give up hope. me? I get paid in cash as much as possible... ;)
