Call to my lovely LJ friends:

My dear dear friend Alex is coming into town on Sunday. He's a small, sweet, dryly funny individual who seems kinda conservative until you get to know him. I will not be able to entertain him during the day on Monday, and I'd love it if someone who works weird hours would be willing to take him out and about to see interesting things. I'm sure, gentleman that he is, that he would compensate with dinner or drinks or somesuch.

Anyone? Bueller?

Or rather I can't seem to get a job at the moment, despite my best efforts. I could show the boy around. If nothing else it will get me out of the house and away from the computer. I've been beating myself up mentally about this whole job dilemma. I need to relax, dammit.

That would be fantastic, if you'd really enjoy doing that.

I used to date him, and he's about five foot four. I'm amused by the idea of him walking around with another woman a head and a half taller than he is. :)

So in case you didn't read my post from Friday, I did not get the job. :( But this will free me up to be a tour guide earlier in the day.

I'm sorry I did not get back to you sooner.
I had a sort of weirdo weekend. Some fun was had but largely it was a fiasco that involved too much rain, getting stuck in the mud, and David accidentally locking the keys to my car in the trunk. It all worked out in the end, but did involve more stress then I needed.

In any case please call me about tomorrow.

I didn't get this until late and didn't have your number on me...I think I'm just going to give him your number and have him call you in the a.m., s'alright? (Not sure if it's all cool to call you at 11 p.m. and all that.) But yeah, he's still down. Thanks again!
