The choir I sang in last season, New Century Voices, is welcoming new talent. We're small and new, but pretty kick-ass, if I do say so myself. Below is the notice; contact info at the bottom!

New Century Voices, an amateur chamber choir specializing in music of the 21st and 20th centuries is holding auditions for all voices. We are looking for singers with or without classical training, who have some choral experience, have sight reading skills, or who can learn notes by themselves. Those interested in auditioning should be prepared to take part in an open rehearsal, followed by a short individual audition with the director to assess musical and vocal skills; which will include some sight reading.
New Century Voices' mission is to perform contemporary music of local and international composers. Rehearsals are held on Tuesday evenings from 7 to 9 at the Swedenborg Chapel at the corner of Quincy and Kirkland streets in Cambridge. Performances include those to benefit the choir and those to compensate the Chapel for use of the space.
Audition date: Tuesday October 12th at 7pm
Location: The Swedenborg Chapel is at the corner of Kirkland and Quincy streets in Cambridge; about a five minute walk from Harvard Square T stop, near Memorial Hall and Busch Hall. Please enter through the glass door between the chapel and the attached Parish house.
